Our Swimming time
Every day after morning break Room 1 has their swimming time. It is great fun. We must all get changed into our togs and leave our other clothes in our plastic bags on the table. If we are unfortunate to forget our togs we have to sit quietly outside the pool and watch or read a book, so we must try to remember our swimmers, a towel and a bag because it is heaps of fun to go swimming.
We learn to kick on the edge of the pool, and get into the pool safely and get out of the pool safely too. We can blow bubbles, kick holding onto the side and do lots of other activities as well as using the kick boards. Three children that try very hard are chosen to go swimming at lunchtime too.
