Learning to cook to help us with writing procedures-making Cup cakes

This term Room 1 is making many delicious foods. We will be able to see how to follow instructions and how to write about what we did. Here you can see us all having a turn at making cupcakes and then making the icing to ice the cupcakes

Here are all our cupcakes when they are out of the overn and ready for icing This was Saia's birthday so he got to ice the first one.

Making cupcakes- Our Ingredients for Making Cupcakes

4 cups of flour

2 teaspoons of baking powder

1 cup of sugar

1 packet of raisins

2 eggs

4 tablespoons of water

4 tablespoons of milk

  

Method- What we did

We put the flour, sugar and baking powder in the bowl and mixed together

We added the raisins and mixed

We broke the eggs and added them to the mixture

We stirred the mixture

We added water and made the mixture into a batter

We used a teaspoon to put the mixture into the patty cases

We cooked the cup cakes for 15 minutes at 200C

They looked golden on the top.
